Why do they get a full day to mull over which women to send to the Olympics, but the men are decided in about 30 minutes?

I mean, the men's team is pretty obvious, and even if the top 3 end up the podium they all fulfill extra criteria in terms of World Standing, season ranking, SBs, GPF qualification, World medals, etc.
