The wait for the scores of the first girl's free skate at Russian Nats was so long that not only did the skater - Ksenia Gushchina - help herself to an ice cream, her coach did too!

Completely agree, seeing this my mind goes back to how (on the mini series the Olympic channel is airing) he said that they have "very different conceptions of figure skating" (or something similar)

The zamboni really adds to the drama . Each time the zamboni covered the camera view, I kept wondering what were we going to see next: 1) is she going to hit him? 2) will she finally sit down? 3) Has she left the building?

No, that stare probably does not beat Fusar-Poli's (epic!!!), but there was much more drama going on backstage before the medal ceremony. The camera showed how Ksenia was yelling at Fedor, she was really furious. I was worried that maybe she would not show up for the medal ceremony.

I'm hoping to find Nikita Starostin's reaction's in the K&C after his FS at Euros just now on YouTube, but not able to find it yet. I saw it on the Eurosport player though, and that guy was just so happy (and he definitely did well), it was a lovely sight.
