Do we know how many have arrived yet? If there are skaters who havn´t arrived yet they should seriously reconsider and making their own bubble before going to Beijing. This doesn´t sound safe at all.

Kolyada was perfectly fine and training at full strength on the 19th. He isn't staying home because of his injury ot a long-standing case of COVID. He got sick in the last couple of days.
Yes, and he was likely working out with the group a Mishin coach in Krasnoyarsk has tested positive now. Anyone not in Krasnoyarsk should be told to not come and have them train/quarantine elsewhere, Krasnoyarsk is compromised

It was stated that S/B are planning to stay in Moscow due to the positive cases in Krasnoyarsk.
Girls, D/S, T/M should arrive tomorrow.

This hasn't shown to be consequential yet, but scheduling the Junior Russian Championships before the Olympics was completely boneheaded and really shows how unserious they have been about guarding themselves from COVID. They are usually held right around the time the Olympics are held. They should have kept that time schedule even if skaters had to go without coaches. Even if some camps wanted to tighten things down after Europeans they couldn't because they would be expected to show up at the Junior Championships. The federation put them in that position.

I am happy for Team T, but yes, they need to send the Moscow skaters directly to China like Stepanova and Bukin are doing. And save those who had already arrived to Krasnoyarsk... I dunno how.

OK, Eteri, now is the time for you to make a choice I agree with and keep your skaters in Moscow. I want Liza to go to the Olympics but NOT at the expense of any of the other members of the team!

Wow! Im sad to hear this. I hope and pray EVERY OTHER SKATER stays healthy and negative! Congrats though to Semenenko! Hope he kills it at the olympics after the performing bad at the Nats and Europeans.

I totally understand this comment. The only reason I watch tennis is to see Serena Williams. When she withdrew from the Australian Open, the event was over for me. I will miss seeing Mikhail as I love his skating.

I'm devastated for Misha, he's worked so hard to get to this point and I really wanted him to have performances he could be proud of at the Olympics. Also really worried about the rest of the skaters in Krasnoyarsk now that I'm starting to read this thread more.
It's bittersweet that this is how Semenenko gets to go to Beijing-- I enjoyed his skates at Worlds and live in Vancouver and have wanted him to do well since then. I hope he stays healthy and gets to make the most of this opportunity.
