Kamila Valieva

I absolutely believe in Kamila. She has the talent and ability to make it even to the next Olympics if she desires and in my mind even the next after that. She's just 15 and has a whole successful career ahead of her. No one can doubt the beauty of her interpretation and grace. Kamila keep going!

kamila valieva just brought me back to figure skating, im sooo impressed with her and anna and alexandra. they really brought excitement back to the sport i havent seen since the last prodigee (Mao) stopped. I will be cheering for her to have an epic performance at worlds, hope she wins next time

I have some doubts whether or not Kamila will be allowed to Worlds by ISU now, tbh. They clearly wouldn't want to issue medals and monetary prizes with risk of them being just temporary - and her case clearly won't be resolved until Worlds either (there just too little time is left). Even if we put difficult and very fast-developing situation in Europe with Russia aside.

she was tested negative after, so it should be resolved by now, she deserves to be at worlds because she represents the best in the world, and what kind of worlds would it be if the best skaters are not present, reprieving her of skating would make it seem like a fake worlds to me.

I personally don't want Kamila to compete subjudice again with the vultures flying circles around her.
I can't wait to see her skating witha free mind again, but never again to see the state of mind she had entering the ice at Beijing.

Her provisional suspension is lifted so what can they do?

I am so sorry the most phenomeol ladies figure skater ever has had such a terrible finsih to what looked like woud be the most phenomenol senior debut season of all time. I hope Kamila is okay and has the proper people to help her digest all the devastation. It cant b easy for her. She looked unbeatable then other things got in the way. Now we dont even have an idea when she will compete again domestically or internationally This frustrates us so much. But it has to be a million times worse for her.

I hope we see her skate in the TT shows this offseason.

It’s frustrating to see she’s the one paying the price.

Agreed. I don't think the ISU is too happy with TT or the Russian figure skating federation. I can't confirm that. But we all know that KV is the one suffering right now after being humiliated in front of the world at the olympics. I only hope this phenomenal talent can skate freely again. But with Russia banished from figure skating on an International level right now who knows when that's going to be.

If there is a next season does she go to new programs or does she stay with what she has which were massive scoring programs?

I also hope that KV being back in Russia that she's with her parents every day.. People have to remember she's only 15 and we don't know what she's going through emotionally.

Kamila needs new programs, bolero is getting old.. but normal GP season looks very improbable this year... again... 😥

Well no matter what happens Russia needs to have their own competition or start their own League because the girls need to skate and stay sharp to develop their talents like KV.
If they get banned from International competitions next season I hope that doesn't happen but I guess it's possible they have to create their own competitions in Russia besides just the Russian Cup Series. They can invite skaters from other countries and see if that becomes anything worthwhile.

Is KV going to skate in the TT shows this offseason?

Will they work on new programs for her?
