1. Tanith Belbin/Benjamin Agosto
2. Meryl Davis/Charlie White (the real question though is...how close will they be to Ben adn Tanith?)
3. I really don't know, but I think eople are pushing for Bates and Samuelson. I've never seen them skate though.

D&W rocked! They got better tech marks than B&A, if you check. Tanith wore her CoC red dress. Ben wore his SA tan overalls

The noticeably faster couples (B&A and D&W) seemed to find the NHL size rink a little small. I think they skate in an Olympic size rink at home?

Samuelson & Bates had a very good YP, and I would have put them ahead of Navarro & Bommentre, I think.

Competition is now over. Wouldn't you know, icenetwork dropped me just before Samuelson & Bates skated, and they didn't get started until after Navarro & Bommentre.

Go meryl and Charlie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so happy for them! I just saw their tango program from last year, and I've forgotten how fast, fluid and smooth they are! Way to go! Hopefully they've tweaked their free program a bit though!

I'm happy for Meryl and Charlie!! Although Nationals scores are usually inflated a bit, it sounds like they did really well for themselves and have improved since their appearances in the fall.
Can't wait to see how they do in the OD and FD. Am also looking forward to Beblin/Agosto's FD as well. D
Dance is probably my favorite event at the moment.

edit: if it's at all possible could someone put Meryl and Charlie's CD on youtube or something? I'm not allowed to get an icenetwork membership and I personally don't think I should have to pay $30 when it used to be free to watch a video

Anyone know where the scores are posted? I tried the icenetwork site and there are no scores there though the CD is well over.

I think the first and second placements will remain the same but the real fight will be for the third spot and a place on the World team.

I have also noticed a huge push for Samuelson & Bates and I do think they are good but I still prefer the style and programs of Navarro & Bommentre. Where Samuelson & Bates might challenge Navarro & Bommentre is in the technical difficulty they have in their FD.

I haven't seen Samuelson & Bates' OD but I have seen that of Navarro & Bommentre and it's one of my favorites of the season.

wow, beblin and agosto do not have the huge lead that they usually have at this event. Davis and White are biting at thier heels. I have to root for D&W.... I love thier smooth, effortless style.

I'm surprised to say that I actually enjoyed watching Yankee Polka. And my favorite one to watch is that of Davis/White. Wow, they had great speed. Made it really look easy and fun. Dare I say, for me it looked better than Belbin/Agosto?

As far as I know, the only vids of US nationals are on icenetwork, which requires:
1. A $29.95 subscription fee
2. A relatively high speed internet connection

However, the CDs will remain on archive for some time.
The CD for Europeans, also the Yankee Polka, is on youtube, and the CD for 4C's, which with luck will have B&A, V&M, D&W, W&P, H/M&C, and whomever wins 3rd in the US, will also be the Yankee Polka.
