Again. I am not trying to discuss anything but what the skaters did tonight. I don't care if Caroline becomes Miki Ando, Lucinda Ruh, Michelle Kwan, and Sasha Cohen all roled into one. She's not it now, and that's the matter.
Additionally, now that I have looked at the judges marks, it serves to make my point even better. It looks totally fair. It shows that Mirai is the better skater since, though she did have some jump troubles, the ones that she did do received higher GOEs. Caroline beat Mirai in the TES, but Mirai rightfully earned more points on the componet scores, and that's where she won out. I don't care if Caroline could do much better in her overall skating; we can say that about anyone.
Now, let's see how many people start saying that Nagasu was purposely overmarked on the PCS marks so that she'd beat Caroline. Fact of the matter is that Nagasu was almost 17 points ahead of Zhang so there was very little chance she was going to end up behind her in the end.
