About Matvey and the Showman programme: Sorry, I didn't clarify that: He's using it at least since the 2018-19 season, what I meant is time for change.
But it's perfectly understandable if you love it so much that you never want it to end. I wish Anisimov and Aliev would still go for the Masquerade Waltz...

About Matvey and the Showman programme:

Haha, don't worry about it, I was just kidding. I am aware that many people find the Showman tunes rather annoying. It would be boring if everyone liked the same things. I am also looking forward to Matvei presenting a new image on the ice next season, he is a rare performer.

The Masquerade programs indeed were special, both for Anisimov and Aliev. Anisimov's is in fact one of my comfort programs. When I'm feeling down and wanna be alone I eat chocolate and watch his Waltz and usually it makes me feel better.

I've updated the Prizes of the President of the FFFKM 2022 post with the revised participant list. Looks like almost all of Team Moskvich has collectively withdrawn, as has Ivan Popov. Maybe they'll compete at the Prizes of the SPB Fed instead? It usually is the more interesting competition in the men's discipline anyway, imo.
I just would like to see them skate one last time this season. Who knows in what state the world will be in after the summer.

Good point, it certainly looks that way, plus a lot of other great names. They even named substitutions!
It sounds like the right treat for those of us who might not quite enjoy Junior Worlds as much as we usually would.

so Maria D has left Mishin and now trains with Rozanov!

Im not too shocked she decided to leave as her season was quite bad result wise. Her ending up at Rozanov is a shock.

If it helps her to train under Rozanov, I guess why not.

But tbh, I don't know if it will help. Her 3A was great at the beginning of the season and at smaller regional competitions even under Mishin, it was as soon as she was under pressure during the Russian Cup series that she struggled with the 3A and a few of her Triples, so it seems more of a mental thing than a technical problem. And I don't know if Rozanov has the best track record with calming frazzled nerves, after all, Nika Zhilina was just as much of a nervous competitor training under him as she is now without him.

Also, can I have some appreciation for Masha Mazur? She has finally moved her 3Lz+3T combo to the second half of the program (Before this competition the 3Lz+3T was always her very first element in the Short) and went clean on the first try.
