i think he has switched, I remember seeing him with Kurbanov last comp as well, its just transfer season hasnt officially started yet so he is still marked as khrystalny student.

Daniils former coach is Olga Volobueva, who really only coaches very young skaters and has few novice/junior slaters 10-13 yers olds as well. I was wondering when he would switch he is too talented of a skater to never get competitive.

Yes, he has nice, confident jumps. Let's see if he can get a 3A over the next season.

My girl Karina didn't have the best day, but coach Elena Alexandrovna will surely now watch her former student Masha Dybkova in the pairs with Aleksey Khvalko. After all, she laid the foundation for magnificent pair skaters so far...

Wow, what a wonderful competition! Totally loved it from start to finish.
Dybkova/Khvalko - super happy they're leading the pack! As Aleksey is already a seasoned pair skater, Masha really met him there! Very impressed by how she took to it straight away. Fingers crossed they're staying together.
Shegay/Shamshurov, Loskutova/Shaderkov, Smirnova/Belkin - love them, wishing them a happy future together
Poznyak/Bezborodko - always happy to see ex-Mozer Team members do well for themselves; glad Sergey did not give up.
Bashina/Sheremet - it may not be popular right now, but I absolutely love their SP.

Already looking forward to the FS.

Poor Shelkovnikov just missed out on a medal. The camel spins were not his friends today. But good fight for all of the jumps!
