Didn't forget to update it, just didn't have a very strong net connection in our hotel room and so I couldn't upload much, so I gave up trying...

so now I'm having to go through literally THOUSANDS of photos and post them in the right order and it's taking a while... so bear with me... I do have a few exhibition photos up as well as some Championship Dance and Novice ladies...

random I know... but it's what I have handy at the moment

more to come!

Toni, I can't wait to see your pics....I think I spent more time trying to look in row 5 to spot you in the stands than I did watching the skaters, LOL! I kept telling my DH, "Toni's there somewhere"!

I ended up moving into different seats for the week. We were still row 5, but we were to the judges left

Great pictures so far ... thanks Toni. I hope you had a fantastic time!!! There sure was some great skating.

I enjoyed the pics you had up so far....will keep checking back!

I had no idea what section to look at but I kept looking row 5-ish up into the stands whenever there was a good shot of the audience.

Toni-Your photos are just unbelievable. Johnny's SP and T/B Exhibit photos blew me away. I felt as if I was right there in the stands watching them.
Thank you so much for sharing and I can't wait for the next group.

Tonichelle, since you were there, did Caroline perform an exhibition? Do only the top 3 of each discipline get to perform exhibitions?

yes she did... top four in each championship disipline performed plus the winners of the Junior and Novice divisions (though Samuelson and Bates did not perform in dance - I believe because she was still battling the flu [we chatted with her mom during the Free Dance])

I haven't put up all of my exhibition photos, as I'm still sifting through the photos to make sure I don't have any horrible ones (and trust me I think a lot of them are lol)

Thanks for the compliments... I really appreciate them as I'm disappointed in quite a few of them...

Picture 210 is a great example of Johnny's strength. (I was going to say superiority over Evan, but thought I should be nice) That is really an awesome picture!
Great pictures over all!!!

Johnny has more camera friendly programs than Evan. Evan blasts through everything and as such most of my pictures of him are extremely blurry. My friends are teasing me that I secretly prefer Johnny over Evan... but the picture numbers lie!!!! ;) Also, for the record, Evan is just too dang tall. I cut off his head so many stupid times because I forgot to pull my zoom back in. *smacks forehead*

210 is one of my favorites, though....

Toni, Funny how that works

I started being an I&B fan because every time we went to a competition, the best pictures Ski took were of I&B--mostly because they hold their moves and have very nice matching leg lines in many of their skills. After spending 2 years with different I&B pictures as wallpaper on my computer, I said to myself if they take such gorgeous pictures, they're doing something right & succumbed to being a fan.

I've always appreciated Johnny's skating... and I love his new programs... he'll win me over soon enough, I'm sure (Sasha finally wore me down  )
