Is it official that Shoma is gonna be competing until 2022???!!! I really hope so! How do y'all think he will fair against the upcomers Yuma, Ilya, etc??!! I think it could be very interesting and exciting next four years in the men's category.

Thanks for bringing this video here. I missed it somehow! The 3Lo at the end that's blurry. Hmmmm....wonder what's up with that. The pups are so adorable attacking the vacuum robot.

I hope so! I expect he will go forward to the 2026 Olympics if all goes well with his health. All of these skaters are competitive and on any given day, I'd put Shoma's skills and musicality against anyone. They're all distinct and it's going to be exciting to see who is steady and creative in the next quad.

Shoma will be on the cover of the new Quadruple Axel magazine, to be published on June 27:
They will also have a new interview with Shoma (!!), as well as interviews with Demi-san (his trainer) and Hashiguchi-san (his boots + blades technician). But of course it will be all in Japanese in the magazine
Aside from Shoma, the contents of this magazine is PACKED: there are multiple joint interviews (Kazuki x Sena, Sota x Koshiro, Tatsuya Tsuboi x Kao Miura), interviews of both Japanese skaters and foreign skaters (Shun Sato, Kanadai, Shingo Nishiyama, Junhwan, Vincent) and interviews of retired skaters (Keiji, Satoko, Tatsuki Machida).

Is it me or does Shoma look older on the magazine cover. It must be the suit - he is the Peter Pan off figure skating!

Did you see that 4CC will be in Colorado Springs, Co instead of Australia? Not that Shoma will be there but you never know!

Yes, I did see that. He is usually selected to go. I would be thrilled if he would! I would probably go if he makes the decision to go.

My mind was racing as soon as I saw that! I *used* to live in Colorado! It's probably still my best shot to see him live, but oh, will it be feasible?? (And I think he's likely to go, but it's less certain than a GP or Worlds...)

Save up some money and do it!
If my last-minute trip to Montpellier taught me anything, it's that anything is feasible with enough determination and a little luck!
I have never been to Colorado before, but I think it would be fun to visit. I would eagerly go if Shoma decides to go.
