Nikogda ne zhalejte o tom, chto sluchilos'.I do understand that pages 12 to 29 had to happen, and life is life, but sometimes I wish I had the power to freeze the time on page 11 of this thread. It was a happy place-time intersect.
I want to say that our musical preferences are similar in many ways. However, not every attempt to try the music I love on Andrei succeeds.Other music to look at with strong stories could be Vizbor, Yaschenko’s White Guard, White Snow…
I would not call myself a fan of Makarevich (for many reasons). I don't think his music is appropriate for Andrei, but there is one exception - one tune that, in my opinion, is divinely beautiful and incredibly suited to Mozalev's spirit.I was also always dreaming about Andrei skating that other Andrei’s songs, but, again, same reason…
So, while we don't know the music for the new programs, we can play my favorite game - "guess what the program will be about by the piece of choreos that appeared on the video for half a minute" (01:02:57 - 01:03:39)
At the moment, the most popular opinion is that Andrei makes movements similar to fencing, dancing, so again, a program with a historical message, like "Conquest of Paradise". More ideas?![]()
After your words I imagined Mozalev in a wig with bouffants, hmm, no, hardly, ok, with curls spread over his shoulders, in a new camisole or a white blouse with sleeves à la Urmanov, dancing in skates on the ice gavotte, minuet or contradanceIf he is doing classic as he sort of said he’s interested in doing, it could be one of the dances from 1800 onward, moving a bit ahead of time from Columbus and DeSade

Yeah, we need intervention. Either Mozalev tells what the programs are, or things will escalate. After your words I imagined Mozalev in a wig with bouffants, hmm, no, hardly, ok, with curls spread over his shoulders, in a new camisole or a white blouse with sleeves à la Urmanov, dancing in skates on the ice gavotte, minuet or contradance(all this he dances alone with an invisible partner or alter ego).
I can't get that image out of my head.
My God, I cannot understand, it`s crazy or incredibly wonderful![]()
And in FS there will be something just the opposite, very tough, and Andrei will go on ice in a leather jacket and jeans, with coiffed hair. I don`t consider other course of action - there must be a contrastYeah, we need intervention. Either Mozalev tells what the programs are, or things will escalate.![]()

Stay strong. Any week now we’ll get GP info… then JGP. So, it will tie us over till Russian season kicks in and we have more Mozalev reveals. And in FS there will be something just the opposite, very tough, and Andrey will go on ice in a leather jacket and jeans, with coiffed hair. We are talking about Davydenko's group, which means we won't know anything until the 15-20 of September, before the Russian team's test skates. Perhaps a little earlier we will find out the jumping content, if the informer is from the St Petersburg national team's test skates. But the programs will be presented only at the test rolls of the national team in SeptemberWe need to be resilient.
The core strength… I kindda see why his parents considered gymnastics before figure-skating.Girl (crossed out) boy on the ball
Mozalev's ability to balance on his toes is amazing. And I definitely like his stylish haircut.
No shoulder-length curls for the new season, Andrei? And what about the historical dance?
The referees won't approve if you actually go on ice in a curly wig... like a judge![]()

Me too! I was so happy to see that SPTS will be open to public.Fans will be allowed to watch the St. Petersburg team test skate this year, so I expect the first videos of Andrei's programs right during those skates, September 5-7![]()
So, kindda reverse of his 2019/2020 season? Is any of it maritime-midlife? Does the choreo leave Mozalev room to breathe and stay with the music? Ah, so many questions! As the girls who keep in touch with the coaching team hint in Andrei's official fan group, SP will be something completely unusual, no famous figure skater has ever taken such music before. Everyone will be dumbfounded.
And FP will be so heartfelt that fans will start crying.
We remain intrigued until the test skates![]()

He is the Soulful One. He seems to have matured in the last year, so def will be interesting to see if he bridges the gap he had between what he feels about the music and projecting it on ice.FP is from a new choreographer this season, so there should be surprises waiting for us in the choreography and in the presentation. However, I noticed that Averbukh also used Mozalev's typical reflexivity in his numbers for the show. Even the unhinged Ferris wheel was imbued with the spirit of Mozalev's quiet reflection of a middle-aged man at the end of a difficult divorce process. Of course, this mood was interrupted by the persistent spirit of hey, look how handsome I am, all girls will be mine, and Andrei's first-ever unbridled Eh! Nevertheless, there was a slight whiff of sadness for the good old days. The second number, where Andrei in white depicts the souls of dead soldiers wandering after their deaths, was as full of reflexivity to the brim as a jug of milk.
I think that for FP these qualities of Andrei will be used in one way or another, because they, as it were, distinguish him from the others and became a kind of his feature.
