I remember his 2018 SP to The World We Knew sung by Frank Sinatra. I was struck at the time by the unprecedented "maturity" of the image. It made me want to say, hey kid, you're fifteen years old, you probably haven't even been on a date, why are you on ice turning into a thirty-seven year old dude with longing in his eyes? "My darling, we fell in love back in high school, we were married for twenty years, I thought everything was fine, at which point it all went wrong and what happens to us after we get divorced"? How do you even know how it could be, you're still too young for that kind of experience? He is the Soulful One. He seems to have matured in the last year, so def will be interesting to see if he bridges the gap he had between what he feels about the music and projecting it on ice.
That's when I first thought that this skater should be looked at, he has a special talent for transformation. And he didn't disappoint me, he continued to develop this ability. Both the coach and the choreographers try to use this ability, although I would probably like to see something really funny from Mozalev. In everyday life, he is a very cheerful young man with a special talent for making everyone laugh with a serious face.
I think he could be a direct heir to Bobrin and his pantomimes.
