Damn, St. Petersburg has again imposed restrictions for sports competitions because of Covid-19. I hope the test skates of the St. Petersburg federation will still pass with spectators, otherwise we will learn only the jumping content, but but will not see Andrei's program.

On September 1, almost all skaters share photos of themselves from the first day of school.
Fans did it for the modest Mozalev. He is 7 y.o. in these photos.



He was an adorable kid with a regal posture and very beautiful hands.

Andrei is so wise! I liked how he said he thinks everyone should be able to express themselves and he thinks there's nothing wrong with football players painting their nails pink. He also said he was bullied thought primary and middle school because figure skaters are seen as "feminine" and figure skating is a "girl's sport". How did he solve the problem? He stopped going to school pretty much! I adore him, haha.

Lol, Andrei actually chose to homeschool as soon as he started building a career as a professional athlete. So the issue of interaction with inadequate peers was resolved rather quickly. He finished specialized high school for professional athletes. All the students there were already professional athletes and the teachers dealt with them taking into account the training and competition schedule.
He didn't drop out of school really.

Wow. Despite the not-so-great roll with the fall and the mistake on the step sequence, it was a really cool performance from Mozalev.
I definitely liked the SP of the new season. And yes, they used Kashmir in the second half! Magnetic start to the composition!

In the first half they used I can't quit you, baby. This season we get to see a matured sexy Mosalev

Also, I just thought that the backloaded 4T-3T is basically one of those ‘have you met Mozalev?’ move and he wanted 4S-3T opening, with 4T-3T as a backup plan. Here goes my hope h they let go off the 2 quads in the short program idea for him…

Watched it! Yeah, great energy, but they really have to stop risking the fall. He seems to be still recovering from it when he is in spread eagle before going into 3A. I know how hard working he is, but stop hoping for a fluke landings.
