I apologize if this seems like an off-topic, but I really like the natural camaraderie of teenage Russian boys and girls at the Olympics, without all the "I'm cool," "my predictions are stronger than yours," "I'm a star, but what have you accomplished?", "Boys, compare your views on YouTube to mine and calm down".
It's nice that they were able to avoid all that, walking around campus, playing table tennis, and putting Lego together.

It's good that their friendship continues even now, when so much has already changed.

...but he's been working very hard lately, it seems, that should be noted 💪

I uploaded the first video as a video with the original sound, so you can hear the real Mozalev "ohhhhhhhh" 😅

In fact, too wet a restyling mat, which even in the case of summer workout doesn't happen very often 🥵

Happy that Mozalev had his 4S today! Seeing him skate clean is always incredibly rewarding. Beautiful delivery and also points for being on the stands the day before watching juniors like the growing coach and team player. 👏

I watched him skate live at the stadium in Kazan. He is unbelievable. Gosh, two landed quads in the SP, finally! And he's so happy.

Aww, that’s lovely! My biggest regret in FS was picking Montreal over Tallinn in 2020! Never really going to happen to see him live now. So many skaters look different on TV.

Traditional offer of a group hug, not that losing to near-clean Aliev after Aliev’s SP score was padded to keep him above the debutant Popov… is something altogether terrible. :ghug:

Tbh, on the whole, I prefer pops to falls, don’t care what the score says on that account. I just hate when he falls from quads. But, please, Mozalev, if at all possible, bring back 3F. It will give more wiggle room and reduce the intake of tranquilizers by me personally.

Andrei finally said officially that he had a knee injury. I believe that the double jumps in the second half are still due to lack of fitness.
Andrei talked to his cheerleading team, he's not happy with his skating and is ready to fight in the future. I've never seen him in such a belligerent mood before. It seems that a champion woke up in him.

As for me, I incredibly liked the almost-clean-with-two-quads SP and liked, despite an unfortunate lack of turnovers in the jumps, the FP. But the good thing is that I saw the SP live, and the FP after the fact.
I was struck by the level of preparation of the program, they really honed and worked out every gesture and every movement, Andrei looks very confident and always knows what to do.

Heh, this article calls him a tennis player in the first line 🤣 hope the knee heals soon.

Andrei plays table tennis very well, so... Maybe he wanted to take up another sport and get more attention from Chinese fans? 🏓 😅
