The rest of the opening day is spent in the ISU part of the event. Both Senior SP segments, followed by both Junior SP segments. Girls followed by boys in each case.

And we start with the Senior Ladies, where there was supposed to be 18 girls (a group of 6 girls; then a resurfacing; then another two groups of 6 girls). However, Angelīna KUČVAĻSKA (LAT) has withdrawn from Group 1; Maé-Bérénice MÉITÉ (FRA) has withdrawn from Group 2; and Barbora VRANKOVA (CZE) has withdrawn from Group 3. So, it's actually 15 girls, arranged into three groups of 5.

Unfortunately so. When the Time Schedule was revised yesterday, Maé-Bérénice was the only one was removed. But the other two are coming up as withdrawals on the livescoring page.

Incidentally, the revised Time Schedule for Juniors shows that two Finnish girls have withdrawn, #12 Pihla BERGMAN and #24 Minja PELTONEN.

Hopefully there won't be any others.

Oh. Maria Seniuks SP TES after the skate before reviews: 31.66. She has the FS minimum for Worlds but needs SP

I wonder if she should try switch her solo jump with a loop or salchow. Her toeloops has often given her rotations issues.

Ach, I was hoping one of Fanny's big sisters would be sitting with her for her results.

Monika was with their wee brother Matias when I saw him a few weeks ago. (By the way, Matias is due to open the Junior Men's SP later on today).

Into 2nd, but a huge 23.34 points behind current leader Niina PETROKINA (EST). And only 1.03 points ahead of current 3rd position, Ester SCHWARZ (ITA).

It was Viveca with Matias at EYOF. I don't know what commentators have said, but Viveca it was. Monica is his coreographer. I think Fanny dates Makar Suntsev and that why he has turned to same club as he.

No, the commentators didn't say anything. It was me. I thought the girl with Matias looked more like Monica than Viveca. But, it's been a few years since I saw either of them, and the photos I was comparing the live pictures to were from their competition days, so they have probably changed a bit in that time.

Nevertheless, it's good to see both of the older girls still involved in the sport, helping their younger siblings.

They all look the same. The biggest difference is Viveca has (I think) natural blond hair, Fanny has brown and Monica's hair colour is something between them. Monica is tallest of them.

Yes, I checked both are from "Espoon Jäätaiturit".

Edit: It seems to be Emma Määttänen in Basic Novice, she is from another club.
