Regarding the short program, I think score wise as well as the contents. It wasn’t all that bad. Of course I
did have some mistakes in a step and couldn’t get the level (four) I wanted. And for the triple toe (in the
combination), I know it turned it into a double, but more than that, through the whole year, I have been
working on the short program, there is no regret. For the past year or two I was able to perform exactly as I
trained, at every competition and I was satisfied with that and I didn’t really expect anything more, or
pursuing more than that. But the past few days, of course with the fall in the training, I was in a pretty bad
shape for about the past ten days and I thought about what I could do in my performance, and it’s been
some time since I felt this way but I just really wanted to make sure what I needed and wanted to do. I was
trying to think how I could do that and going into this with a calm mind was not the answer so I really
pushed myself to be motivated and in a fighting mode, and with the strong mind I was able to deliver today
so I was more happy than usual.

I read that Sho.said he was tired of writing 4T-3T, and then people would say he made a mistake if he did 4T-2T. I did see that he said something to Stepen about "double toe" as he left the ice. Maybe he didn't want to push it too much if his ankle felt so-so...I'm still waiting for the Stepen Cam. He was doing quite a bit of yelling and board pounding! So.what else is new?!Funny that they now "plan" the 4T+2T anyway. Maybe a psychological trick as it won't show as "he did less" to the judges if the 3T does not work.

No matter what happens, it has been a great privilege to watch a whole season of the Tormenta (Mea Shomenta to me) program. The hours of work and practice put into making that program amazing is so typical of Shoma. Like Stepen said "I trust you, I trust your work." Believe in yourself Sho and trust all those hours of training! You got this!!!
