Lovely performances by both Korpi and Meier, good that the Europeans are representing. And just check out the footwork going into Rochette T.Lutz....sign...one of the few skaters who actually follow the rules and does it directly into the triple...
 
My take on S and S's LP

Beautiful 3twist and both throws.
Lifts - 1st one had bad dismount -2nd and 3rd = ugly positions and very short lifts
Spins -s/s off badly in mid then back on - pr - ok but travelled a bit
Death spiral - the second position is just plain ugly
Footwork - did no one else see him stumble about on the twizzles??????

My biggest problem is ABSOLUTELY NO CONNECTION TO EACH OTHER!!!

The music and choreography are just plain BORING!!!!!

I'll be honest, the first time I saw it I didn't really like it but I absolutely loved it here. It's similar to last year FD; I didn't like it until Worlds.
They were spot on for every second of this performance and definitely deserved the silver. IMO, they've also gotten the best choreography of the Igor/Marina teams and they just execute it magnificently. Job well done.
 
Medal Ceremonies for both Mens and Ladies please?

Obviously I've seen the Mens, but the CBC decided to not show the Ladies. I know the reasoning, no Canadian on the podium, but Yu-Na was there and she does live and train in Toronto now, so....

Thanks Saundy, but I think that's only an option for those of us in Canada *and* those not still stuck in Dial Up Hell.

I'd still love the link over at YouTube for the Men's Medal Ceremony to share w/some friends at another MB. :)
