Raf usually trains in California, he's just kind of infamous (at least what I've seen) for only travelling with a few skaters and leaving the rest unless it's the Olympics or something.

now it's the shot put for women... so i am back to watching the skating but i left the sound on for shot put (no commentary) so i hear the big scream when they release the weight i don't want to miss the next event in decathlon lol... that's why

Probably he doesn't have the money to have a coach travel with him (certainly no money from the Kazakh fed). Russian coaches have been sitting in ISU K&Cs without any issues all these past months.

I thought exactly the same when I saw the costume!

Somebody definitely missed a trick there.

Either that, or he was planning on doing it, and they changed his programme at the last minute, and didn't have time to get a new costume.

Rio does look a lot like Yuzu when he's skating so I'm getting jumpscared whenever he comes around a corner... also I think we should have maple cactus Rio and mushroom green dragon Rio take a picture together.

Rio skated so well at next gen camp.. i thought he could bring it here... but pretty much all his landing were iffy... but still landed a quad and a 3a. If he gets a bit more consistent, he could be competitive. Super tight rotation.
