Michaela MÁLKOVÁ (CZE) was VERY upset after her skate (she had two falls). She was crying her eyes out the whole time.

In fact, she was so upset that she ended up leaving before her scores were even announced.



I know I criticised Gabriele Frangipani for walking off at the 2015 Lombardia Trophy when he was a couple of years younger than Michaela, but there is a big difference in the circumstances. He was angry and was losing his temper before he left. She was upset and was crying uncontrollably before she left.

She went into 4th position.

Yes, it is the resurfacing now. Should be finished in 5 minutes.

Inga has been on. If you wind back about 1h 35m you should have time to watch her before the next group starts.

Yeah, it started early. I was caught out too, as I was watching the Warm-Up for the group I missed.

You know, that camera position isn't great if you are trying to keep track of what is going on during a Warm-Up. It shows too little of the ice. And with all the skaters having black hair, it was hard to identify them from that distance / angle.

I have to be honest, I didn't spot Stefania at all. And it didn't help that, with it being so long since I last saw her, I couldn't remember what her SP costume looks like! I had a feeling it was black, but I was not sure. And by the time I checked, the Warm-Up was over!

But, here she is now.

I think she's not there. Because when I checked a video on YouTube, her SP dress is grey. And I didn't see any grey dresses during the Warm-Up. And I didn't see any white jackets either that could have been hiding it.

Well, another of my kids from Cyprus has just won the Basic Novice competition at the Santa Claus Cup. So, I can celebrate that!

And I have another two kids in the Advanced Novice competition over there later on too!

The Bosphorus Cup starts with an Advanced Novice double-bill. A marathon of 36 girls; followed by a group of 8 boys. The girls are arranged into three groups of 7; followed by a resurfacing; followed by a group of 7; followed by a group of 8.

Ooooh, I just saw who her choeographers are: Maria Sotskova and Natalia Popova!

Yagmur goes into 11th. One position ahead of the Czech girl that was crying earlier.
