Kinayu has great musicality and skating skills, but the jumps int he first half were just not there for her today. She recovered very nicely in the second half.

Not her best skate of the season, but this skate still shows so much growth of her as a skater. Where mistakes would usually derail her in the past and lead to her having true meltdown skates, she got back on track and even had a back-up plan today.
JSF better give their mid-pack skaters more international assignments, I need to see more of skaters like her and Maria Egawa.

Kinayu: amazing presentation skills. She really sells the program to you even if her technical elements aren't on point. Also, interesting music choice! I really enjoyed it, felt different from everyone else's in a really good way. Well done Kinayu!
