–This is Kazuki Tomono senshu. Thank you for your hard work.
K: Thank you very much.
–First of all, how do you feel about this free skate, which was your best?
K: I think I really did the best I could. I wasn't in the best shape in the 6-minute warm-up and my body was a little unsteady, but on the other hand I was determined and I was able to do everything with all my might, I think. I am happy that I was able to land the Salchow, which I did not do well yesterday.
–Once again, I think the first three quadruple jumps were the key to your performance. How do you feel about that?
K: I managed it somehow, and I hope to be able to do it with more control.
–After the short program you said that you were good in the free program and that you wanted to catch up. How did you do that?
K: Well, I think, anyway, it was a free program where no mistakes were allowed, and I was behind after the short program, so I just had to give it my all, yes, I did.
–You are in the lead now, how do you feel about that?
K: I think everyone is going to do their best, so I don't know how it's going to end up, but I'm really looking forward to it.
–This is the program that you and Mr. Misha Ge have created, how do you feel it is developing over the course of this season?
K: Well, in the free today, for the first time, I received a kind of applause that I had never received before, and in the end, when I did the spins, it was my ultimate goal of this program, and I was so happy to have achieved it at the All-Japan. I was really happy about that.
–What did you and Misha Ge-san talk about?
K: We decided that I should do what I could do as usual, without striving for perfection.
–The season is still going on, so please tell us about your enthusiasm for the rest of the year.
K: I think I did what I needed to do in Japan for now, and there are still some things I haven't accomplished in the short program, so I hope to have a strong short program and free program in the upcoming competitions.
–Thank you for all your hard work.
K: Thank you very much.
