One of your favorites Jacob Sanchez has won the SP at Youth Olympics.

I really hope he will keep it up into the FS. I loved watching him this morning. As other have said before me: he's got pizazz and retaining it while he grows (literally). Was lovely to watch!

The best thing is: he has got closecompetition, so it won't be a walk in the park. I hope he does a good FS too! But I also wish Adam to do that, as well as quite a few others. I came across him performing live at Night of Proms 2012 on YouTube with a live orchestra and incredible light show. Just last week actually. Unreal how great he still sounds. Check it out!

I'm afraid John Miles died a year or two ago. I posted a tribute on here at the time, and a member I am good friends with came on and told a story about being at school at the time the song came out, and one of her teachers knowing him.

Especially about the pairs. No compassion what-so-ever (and there were mistakes), just comparison with top sr pairs as if that is a fair comparison. I was not so much annoyed as unhappy that they got that kind of treatment. A lot more feeling for the men though, although some mistakes regarding the points on her part too. That makes it worse in my view: there is absolutely no need to look down on those pairs (who of course skated their best) while you have some problems yourself in evaluating the men.

True. But, it's still not how I imagined her from listening to her.

It's always fascinating finding out what people really look like after having only pictured them in your head before. And finding out how far away from reality your imagination was!

I was just thinking about how Ted did on the JGP in comparison to here, and he did come off very protective of the skaters there who weren't at a high level of skating yet. Considering the issues with the live chat on Youtube, it was necessary.

I'm catching up with the men now. Petra is slightly less annoying here for me, but she's a little too much into commenting on some of the skaters heights.
