Even Guillaume is the best skater I've ever watched on the ice, I would give a win to Chock/Bates if we are judging by the ordinals, but majority of judges on the panel still found more quality in French team elements and components to win overall.

Chock/ Bates skated well and they have been favored for several seasons leading up to the 2026 Olympics. Still, I was underwhelmed by their gimmicky FD material, despite how they smoothed it out over the course of the season, in an effort to make it work. For me, Evan has lost a step due to age and injury, and it showed, even if he managed to get through everything overall. C/B certainly skated their hearts out in four performances, and they have two medals to show for it, one a Team Gold.

In my heart, Piper & Paul had the performance of the night, and should not have been relegated as only competing for bronze against Fear/ Gibson

I honestly thought the overal best skating was Piper and Paul I fear they may never skate so well again. I would have all three teams within 1/2 point after the RD and I am not sure who deserves first. But in the FD it was Piper and Paul
