Oh, that! Yes, dreadful. I saw the original version of that at Lake Placid, and if anything, it was worse than the version they used later in the season

This was a poor match of program with skater. He clearly has no interest in this music at all.

It could have been worse. But he was so slow and a lot of sloppy landings.

I love the music choice and costume from Tomoki! I adore Finlandia. I hope in the future he can feel more confident in the jumps and commit to the performance more, he seemed more element-oriented tonight and I miss performer Tomoki.

Unfortunately this is the kind of up and down performance we tend to get from Tomoki. Not a complete meltdown thankfully. The potential is still there. His Russian splits are just amazing, for example. I hope he can put it all together soon.

I agree with you about the CN Tower but I love me a good poutine. It's all about the cheese curds - they need to be fresh and squeaky.

Very uninspired program. The music choice was horrible, and he spent lots of time with his arms hanging down.

Good for him for upping his training game, but I don’t think he’s feeling this music

Not as wild as he sometimes is. Finlandia is a very big piece of music, though, and I felt it drowned what choreography he had rather than him skating up to the music.

At least is wasn't a horrible cover of "The Boxer". I wish I still didn't know that version existed. Shudder. Why butcher a Simon and Garfunkel classic, I ask you?
