No Fee Ann 😖
Was hoping she would get an event
don't get me started... Fee Ann and Audréane.
I’m happy for F/A (I’ll take this, and they deserve it after their National performance);
yeah... they thought... @4everchan will be pissed so... let's name F/A so he doesn't freak out.... :) (i needed more than this)
Saying my prayers tonight for Roman 🙏 (hope to see him on the entry list for Worlds)
I don't think you need to pray that hard... Conrad lost his rosary somewhere on the way to China.

Romsky 👏
Every other spot was already certain. I just hope LaLa actually competes.
As you know, I am pretty invested in Conrad... but then, for me, it was always certain Roman was going to get the nod. Conrad just didn't do enough. Stephen is injured. There was nobody else really. If Conrad had been on the podium at Nationals, maybe there was an odd chance.... but the way things unfolded, there was never a doubt in my mind. Just like there is no doubt that he will be the alternate.

Gans/Boutsan and Kravets/Stark have ended their partnerships.

I liked Gans/Boutsan, so I'm happy that they got to end with the team event bronze at YOG.
I guess such a big achievement can fulfill the "I've done it with my sport" box, and could lead to wanting to focus on something else... Considering how many years it may take for them to get to senior ranks or even junior worlds with all the teams ahead... It's crazy... I hope Annikole are going to keep at it.

There's also age too. Michael is younger than Audra. If they stayed together long-term it would mean moving up to senior when he would have more eligibility as a junior still.

Yeah... I thought of that too... at the same time, it seems Audra is not on IPS... so it may be a bit of both... In any case, that's why I try not to follow too much the juniors :) I am still not over Aissa and Emmy's split and let's not even mention D'aWa's

Good to see you are doing this. I personnally (but I'm not Canadian) felt there was no issue with the outcome so far, but was surprised there was no redistribution of the points given out, and I hope a judge will bring clarity. It's easy for me to say, I am not getting a medal or not. I do have a soft spot for you guys, so I hope you win!

What would we give to finally see Piper & Paul as world champions finally (which could happen, but not likely since Chock & Bates seem to be being angled for a golden retirement moment, but who knows because hometown advantage exists)...

and what would we give to finally see Deanna Stellato-Dudek as world champion at 40 years old???...

to know that both those things can possibly happen is marvelously mind-blowing...I will say if neither of those things happen, it will probably never happen...

well... i am going there with the intention of witnessing both.... even if I am setting myself up for disappointment :)

Like to see both those things happen but can't see Chock and Bates not winning worlds again. I mean last year they even won with errors and a fall! Where one little misstep by Piper and Paul and they drop!
Deanna and Max seen to come out strong at the beginning of the season and then start to have errors in the big events as the season goes along. But if they skate 2 clean programs I agree, they are the ones to beat.
