So it looks like Stephane truly was here working with Sho recently. And he even made him suffer thru a little off-ice training! LOL. Sho smiles even when he's suffering!Very happy to see them working together.
Although I am in a positive mood about Shoma these days, what I can say is to look at this from a glass-half-full perspective: We may not be seeing Shoma at the moment, but we know he is working incredibly hard behind the scenes so he can give us two amazing programs at Worlds!Work that core Shoma! Stephane is effortless in his elbow to knee movements.
Love the reunion, what a team.
Anyone else feeling bereft with not seeing Shoma skate since December? I am starved - cannot wait for World's!!
Not that bereft, since he's been skating more in shows between December and now compared to last year (and I got to watch him live too- will go again this August!).Work that core Shoma! Stephane is effortless in his elbow to knee movements.

Same. I have very little interest in ice shows and really miss him doing competitions like 4CC and Challengers. Anything is better than nothing, but for me, there's nothing like competitions. Only 23 more days til Worlds.Anyone else feeling bereft with not seeing Shoma skate since December? I am starved - cannot wait for World's!!
No, no really since Shoma seems to be taking a new direction in what he shows fans. We don’t see him much on the dogs YouTube channel anymore along with his channel. He doesn’t post often on Instagram either. Maybe he doesn’t want to keep fans as updated as he use to. And that’s ok. Maybe he just wants fans to know that even if we don’t see him as much he is doing well. Maybe it’s also a sign too that he is closing the competitive chapter in his life after this season. He did say recently that he doesn’t want to have any regrets at Worlds this year and give everything he has in his competitive career. I haven’t known about Shoma as long as other fans, but he has always seemed like a very reserved man. Again that’s ok. I remember I think it was before the 2022 Olympics he said in an interview that even if we don’t speak our words of encouragement aloud, if we just have good thoughts of him in our hearts he could feel it. Perhaps he wants that again for Worlds even if we don’t see that much how he is doing. If he does a lot more ice shows in the future of course we’ll see him. I have no doubt that he’ll continue to do ice shows even after he retires because he has said he really enjoys them especially since the focus on jumps is much less. Perhaps I’m the only one who thinks this but it adds to the excitement of seeing him after not seeing him for a while. He is being mysterious. Worlds 2024 is going to be so intense and good. I can’t wait to see what happens. You go Shoma!Work that core Shoma! Stephane is effortless in his elbow to knee movements.

I think this is a preview from Fuji TV ONE TWO NEXT, where Shoma is going to watch old Worlds programs of his and comment:
They will air it on 3 different days- I think it's likely that Shoma will comment on multiple Worlds that he has competed at, since he has competed at 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015 Jr. Worlds and 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022 and 2023 Sr. Worlds. In total, he's competed at 11 consecutive Worlds (should have been 12 consecutive but 2020 Worlds was cancelled). He is commenting on 3 different days?

I don't put much faith in predictions one way or the other. I do like to know what people are thinking though. Highest planned BV isn't always the one who wins. It might look good on paper, but the skater still has to execute the plan. I always say I should get the prize for the worst predictions.! LOL. I have deleted my post in case people think it is bad luck.I don't pay much attention to predictions myself, particularly when it comes to Shoma; I don't want to get too worried or overly confident about any particular result. I just want to send kind thoughts his way (and I encourage you guys to do the same thing!). All I can say here is something I've said many times
