^^^The jet lag could be brutal. I wondered if he would go early to try to get acclimated to the time. 13 hour time difference! :dbana: Glad he's giving some thought to the time. He is looking really good. I think he likes a good challenge!

He's wise to adjust his body clock and I hope he goes there a little early and keeps his watch on Montreal time. Finally, a time zone I can live with!

Another angle of the open practice from another news outlet. The rink is Shin-Yokohama Skate Center, where PIW Yokohama and Friends on Ice (and Dreams on Ice) are usually held.

What a night owl he is. That’s good he is trying to get use to the time difference coming up. I’m sure sleep must feel extra good after being up so late and working so hard on the ice.

What’s suppose to be on the DVD? Just images of him in the photo shoot or is it behind the scenes of the photo shoot?
The DVD include images and behind-the-scenes video of the photoshoot, Exclusive interview, and there is also special content of "Uno's first part-time job experience" and "Osaka dialect master class" filmed at the official Colantotte store.

It was announced when the necklace was first released:

And this was the part-time job :giggle:

Also, Shoma talked about his FS (and new practice footage, this was from February with Stephane, which was recorded earlier than the newer footage this March from the midnight practice):

I have thoughts about Shoma's FS but I was already suspecting the theme to be personal to him since the first day the music is revealed, because the order of the pieces was so specific, it's hard for me to think about it as "just" another classical music program. And I also suspected that he expressed himself in a specific way, especially in Spiegel im Spiegel. Timelapse, true to what he says about "the me up until now" is very Shoma. Timelapse is dominated by string instruments, and that pairs with Shoma's skating like bread and butter. Just very natural. It's Spiegel im Spiegel that's a bit different, more quiet, more smooth, more... distance. A gamble considering one of Shoma's strength is to make people feel, but here he deliberately "flattens" his skating and his aura which creates a different effect. And it makes me think about how his previous programs "prepared" him for this program: Moonlight Sonata, with the quietness of its first movement and Oboe Concerto, which was inspired by sculptures. They were sort of the prelude that leads to Timelapse/Spiegel and it's fun to have Shoma confirm what I have been watching hehe.

Sigh. Remembering the good ole days when Brother Tree kept us up to date on Sho's comings and goings. I guess I didn't realize how spoiled we were. I still love these packing photos! And poor Emma, she always knew what the suitcases meant!!!!

We have already seen bits and pieces of this, but the training process is so fascinating. I hope to see a great 3A-Eu-3F sequence from Sho! If you open it up you can see all the "pieces". Yes Shoma -- bad days, good days, trust yourself!!!!

Thank you Shomagravity for translating what his target is for Worlds: "Shoma said his target was “everything” like doing his best with jumps etc and to win but also do his best in the parts that won’t even translate into scores."
