Yuzuru Hanyu

The Sendai Zoo tries to attract tourists visiting the city out of admiration for Yuzuru Hanyu:

On the map, the prairie dogs Yuzuru Hanyu once said he wished to see, are circled in red:

I love this suggestion of poster for RE_PRAY in Miyagi, with only photos of Yuzuru Hanyu in RE_PRAY:

Arigato, can you see this image?

This is too weird. When I wasn't logged in and reading your post, all I saw was a bunch of letters (like ABCDcGTH) and no image. Then I logged in and now there are no letters and no image. Anyway, no worries! I clicked on that twitter link you have in your post and it took me directly to the image. What I can't see, though, is the embedded twitter post. One way or another I got to see it.

Maison Kose joined the Yuzu photoshoot review party starting an exhibition in their Ginza stronghold in Tokyo of their latest photoshoot for Sekkisei Miyabi campaign displaying both the enlarged photos and the navy blue suit he posed in, complete with the shoes :)
The exhibition is on till the end of April.
Here you go! Some stills and a video from the venue where you can hear Yuzuru's recorded voice from the ads played softly in the background :)

I ran across another statistic for Yuzuru when browsing youtube and checked on wiki, so added it to the reference list I did above. Yuzu also has the record for the number of seasons at number 1 in men's rankings - five consecutive seasons - in the IJS era and he was the youngest when first reaching number 1 (19 years, 111 days). I'm making a note for the next time someone here or elsewhere tries to argue his record isn't that good.... (of course, wikipedia has a whole page devoted to it as well :))

Of course, the dimension of his real domination on competitive Figure Skating won't be fully acknowledged until rescorings happen, and I very much doubt that there will be an official rescoring for each and every rigged competition in Figure Skating, because he's far from being the only victim, chiefly the most prominent; I'm sure that Olympics will be rescored some day, and perhaps some great championships or Grand Prix Finals or some fake World Records (to this date, I know of no skater but him having ever deserved a 100 in a Short Program or a 200 in a Free Skating, if scored after the rules).
This makes this "official preeminence" you are mentioning, all the most impressive.

Some more pics form Sekkisei photobooks being a part of the campaign which started on April 1. The most amazing medieval Japanese costume recreated to the tiniest detail just for him to wear at this one session - remember, guys?
