Nice sequence of choreography.

A great SP to start her Junior GP career.

But I have to issue a disclaimer. Last season in Advanced Novices, she was always good in the SP. And then she tended to have troubles in the FS. And it wasn't that she was tiring with the longer programme, because the mistakes were coming at the start of the programme.

Since the commentators haven't said it, and neither does her ISU Bio, she is originally from Moscow.

Andrei Lutay and wife Ina Demireva (Albena Denkova's sister) sitting with her. That explains a lot. The very first competition that Varvara did outside of Moscow (just two seasons ago) was in Bulgaria.

She goes into 20th position. And no reaction from any of the three of them!
