How nice to see so many new pairs getting to compete so early in their careers and go home and say they competed as juniors at a world level event.

I think Rolland/Lacasse are gradually building confidence. It was a tentative performance still, but not as much as in the Summer competitions.

saw them at their first event last year... and they couldn't do much.. this is major improvement.... so proud of them... in CQE 2023, they were still learning the Death Spiral... so yeah. A triple throw, and awesome step, a solid lift... i m impressed

If this was 5 years ago, I know what I would have replied with. But, times have changed.

You know, when I looked them up and saw that Aaliyah was born in Würzburg, I thought "Why does that place ring a bell? Is there somebody famous from there?" And when I looked up people from Würzburg, the only name I recognised was Thomas Bach.

Nope. Must be some other reason.
