She improved. She also got a 6 here. How many judges give her 4s last year ? You make it sound like everyone hates her.. She doesn't emote nor perform yet. She stares down the whole time. It's hard to give her more... Her blades are scratchy. She has improved tons and I am so happy for her, but I wouldn't put any blame on judges for scoring her poorly last year. Her skating was really not on par with other Canadian leaders... yet, she finished 4th at Nationals.

I think you compare international judges with Canadian ones. It seems international judges like her more

But this is problem of camera man , not the column

Actually, you may have a point here. The person behind the camera won't see the graphics that we have on screen. So, it is very difficult for them to know if they have the skater in shot.

So, get rid of that huge graphic and instead have one that is smaller and more manageable (and that actually tells us the TES and GOE).

of course they do... Canadian judges value skating skills a lot... because the essence of Canadian skating style is based on that. Other judges, some do and some don't. So i am not surprised her PCS are stronger her than at Nationals.
