Is there any news on Shanaeva or Eremenko?

Are Kaganovskaya and Nekrasov on the team? Do they need to take part in Rus Cup events to qualify for nationals?

Still looking for a partner.

He hasn't said anything himself. The media spreads that he intends to coach in the US.

No. The team list is in the OP.

Everyone needs. National team members are allowed to miss it only due to health reasons.

Thanks. Then it seems that there is not much advantage to being a team member other than funding.

Update on Anna Rumak - She found a new partner (Antonin Emo) and is now waiting for her release to skate for France 🇫🇷.

Hopefully, this partnership works out as well for her as Russian-French partnerships have for other Russian girlies before her (see Evgenia Lopareva as the prime example).

Lopareva/B has a great program this season & I overall dig their direction. Also, excited for Rumak! I love French ID and Ovsiankina seemed to have found a really good match-up there.

Thanks for the update on Anna :thank: I was a fan of Rumak/Goncharov, so glad both of them have now found partners to continue with

Mom called me saying RusFed refused Rumak's transfer. God only knows where she gets her news, so take it with a grain of salt.

It wasn't "refused". Transfers are not discussed mid-season. They are discussed in December and May (or only in May now?).

That's what I told Mom. Gartung Sr. said once a year, in the spring, in his interview. I think last year (?) they released the number of applicants for transfer in winter. At a guess, they take all the applications before the winter seating, then finalize the decisions in the spring, issuing releases for next season.

It's just TASS posted that she doesn't have a release. But the article doesn't mention the fact she couldn't be released by now. It could be a little confusing and sound like it was refused.

okay, makes sense. Thank you for the clarification.

This is a wonderful guide specifically to senior ID for this year. I am super grateful to 4 teams that sat down and walked us through every required feature in every technical element of their programs, while pointing them on the slo motion videos of their practices. It's invaluable for someone like myself, and I will be re-watching it before every competition. Plus, I am even more into Khavronina/Naryzhnyj now, though all 4 dance teams do a wonderful job and are charismatic each in their own way.

Have you seen Slutskaya/Goncharov FD? It's worth watching. I was pleasantly surprised.
They have such speed, i'm impressed. Slutskaya has charisma and her facial expressions are pleasant, we'll just have to see if she can get up to par with him technically considering she's inexperienced but since he's so experienced- i don't see why not. They have good chemistry too.

Slutskaya/Goncharov's FD is my favorite from the junior division that is quite fun to watch this year. I am looking forward to the top 10 in the junior nationals.
