Word Scramble - New Game!!!

viola
the first word I did think of was voilà, but this is French. So just one word.

boper
probe

fnlie

Voila was the one I meant was iffy. Canadians say it in an ordinary sentence as if it were an English word: "Just lift the top of the ottoman and voila, there's a spare blanket for the couch". (Pronounced vwallah with no strong emphasis on the a.) But I assumed it's only a basic Frenglish word in Canada.

I'm stuck on this one, although I've now learned that "poind" itself is a word meaning to distrain or impound cattle. Which is not something I need for everyday conversation, but it's always fun to learn rare words you can use in Scrabble .

I'll admit I'm stalled with this, though :scratch2:

Now I'm seeing six letters instead of the five letters the game words use. Which letter is an extra one, Jorge? I tried cheating on a Scrabble site, but it couldn't make any words out of "p o i l n d". It tried to correct me to "Poland".

for this one I've found a definition is the dictionnary, so no need to unscramble
1. (Law) to take (property of a debtor) in execution or by way of distress; distrain
2. (Law) to impound (stray cattle, etc)
[C15: from Scots, variant of Old English pyndan to impound]

[I'd looked up the word poind also because I was sure I'd come across it when I worked in a law library. But I resorted to Scrabble sites out of curiosity and they couldn't make any other word out of the letters.]
