It now makes more sense to me how this whole thing could have happened. I couldn't imagine Desyatov sexually assaulting an American on American soil, considering his potential citizenship is at stake. He possibly had the mindset "What happens in Croatia, stays in Croatia". No, buddy. That's not how rape works. FAFO.

Unless you know either one of these young individuals, it is impossible for you to know what either of their thought processes are or were. You also know nothing about their personalities, characters, and former relationship with each other in their friends circle, prior to Desyatov relocating to the U.S. without anyone knowing except his brother (as their parents had both passed away when Desyatov was in his early teens).

I think it is wonderful you are sticking up for him. I always root for the underdog as a rule, usually. But how does this jive with the fact that at that competition he was (supposedly) married to his partner for over a year? She just lets her husband go out and drink and do whatever when they are at international skating competitions? Let's just talk common sense here. Don't think this is just a "skating forum". Talk to me about this as if we are at lunch. I'd love to hear how you would stand up for him.

For some reason I can't stop thinking that if it really is Solene, he chose her because he thought it would be easy to shove her accusations. Because she was injured, had brain damage and some may think she isn't able to asses thing correctly. When you work in my profession, work certain type of cases, you start to think bad about people

With all due respect, YOU were the one spreading disinformation after the suspension happened, claiming that their federation was actively conspiring against them. These were absolutely not facts, they were YOUR opinion- and not an opinion supported by any shred of evidence.

No, at least not as far as the public knows (She's also not 18 yet, so that alone makes it much more unlikely).
They are alluding to the fact that Jeffrey Chen is supposedly under investigation by Safe Sport due to alleged physical violence against one of his former partners (and MIDA for trying to hide the incident). Rumours have it that this partner is Yahli, but all of this is without concrete evidence so far.

Where is the page where she would have been able to take that information down? I would assume she would have it on a site that she could control the content, like her USFS page, Instagram, her ISU bio. If you cannot provide a link to a page like that, you do not have confirmation of the move. You have rumours from The Skating Lesson that isn't confirmed by the team.
