Beautiful combination jump. And same with the combination spin immediately afterwards.

If that was a combination jump, she missed teh second part. If it was an individual jump, it was beautiful.

Was the next jump popped too?

The next combination jump was lovely, And so was the combination spin immediately afterwards.

Fall on her final jump. But the spin afterwards was beautiful.

I don't know what is going on this week. She normally makes everything look effortless. But so much went wrong in both programmes.

She was sitting on her own for a while before Goncharenko arrived.

She goes into 2nd position in both the FS and overall.

Well, the good things were beautiful, so I will say it anyway:

Every time I see Veronika KIM (KAZ), I always think of the dearly missed Denis TEN. Because it is obvious that Veronika, like Denis, is from Kazakhstan's Korean community.

And because she's very good!

She goes into a massive lead in both the FS (11.89 points) and overall (18.67 points).

OK, I called that one completely wrong.

When I saw Alica LENGYELOVA (SVK)'s costume, I thought "Mickey" by Toni Basil. Then the music started, and it was actually "The Race" by Yello.

But I was not expecting it to turn into "Get Ready" by 2 Unlimited. Not two songs I would have thought of putting together, but they worked.

I know I'm biased because I love the Lengyelova sisters anyway, but I loved that programme!

And I'm not the only one that loved it. There were massive cheers from the audience when she finished!

She goes into a decent lead in both the FS (6.73 points) and overall (9.54 points).

The audience are cheering and stomping their feet in approval.

The first group of Junior Ice Dancers are now on the ice for their Warm-Up.

My goodness. We start with a set of costumes that scream "French Ice Dancers". But, they're not.

Eva SHELAEVA / Ivan SOLOVYEV (KAZ) were doing a Boney M medley.

How on Earth do you describe these costumes?! Eva is wearing a multi-coloured dress with matching hairband. Ivan is wearing a shirt that matches what Eva is wearing, with black dungarees over it.

It was actually a really good programme, though.

A fun way to start the Ice Dancing competitions.
