That was a lovely almost-clean skate from Shuntaro - he has a really nice landing position and his jumps when done well are very nice. He seemed to tire in the second half, but really tapped into all he had left for that choreo sequence. It was an epic finish to the program, so much commitment and energy!

Love the bling on this guy's costume! Level 4 on spins and step sequence. Nice!

Yuto has a normal costume? And is with Mie Hamada now? What is happening? Some silly jump math issues in there - too many double toes invalidated one of his combos and earned him a +REP - but aside from that and the axel pop this was a solid skate from Yuto. The music is great (it's Rondo) but I do think it's really a tricky piece to interpret while you're trying to do the jumps in a free program.

Yuto has been coached by Team Hamada for years 😊

The popped Axel was annoying and the Zayaks unnecessary, but overall it was an appealing performance.

What a lovely program from Haru! The music was really lovely, and his performance was subtle yet elegant and well-done. Going for an easier-yet-cleaner route really worked out well for him today.

Takumi skating to "Air"... what a perfect music choice! I loved the back spiral into the 3Lo, and his jumps are always enjoyable to watch - they're so tidy and neat. I am a little sad about that stupid stumble heading into his crossovers at the end of the choreo sequence, because it was a really nice element apart from that and that affected the GOE. Regardless, though, this was a really strong skate from him and yet again, easier but cleaner is climbing up the placements.

I can tell Mura-sensei is encouraging Takumi to depend less on the rippon arms during his jumps 😅

Sigh... Koshiro, why are you such a cactus? This program has really grown so much, Koshiro has really managed to pick out all of the musical nuances and there's so much brilliant choreography throughout, but the YOLO 4Lz attempt? The rest of the program was so good.
