Well, when Kaori gets her over inflated PCS score (worth more than a quad), I’m sure that will place her in first place.
But, honestly, she deserves 2nd. No triple triple combo. And the judges didn’t even review her 3Lz

Kaori's coach slapping her on the back at the beginning is always a joy for me. I think about this often and it brings me great happiness

Making that jump a combo after the spin out was pretty impressive.
I still stand by my opinion that Chicago is a little too snappy where Kaori is very fluid (not a bad thing. a very good thing in fact, just bad for Chicago specifically), but still a good performance! Well done, Kaori. Looks like she had fun!

So happy Kaori continued competing... like a 5-time Nationals Champion, imagine that. The first JNats I followed was her beating Rika Kihira and Satoko Miyahara, and since then JNats became my most favorite competition every season

No, and I believe only Mao attempted one.

Now that was an excellent competition. Thank goodness for that. There were no real meltdowns. The competition was stiff so even minor mistakes proved to be costly. The Worlds team is simple. It’s going to be Sakamoto, Higuchi, Chiba.

I agree that Kaori was hugely overscored but still I am happy because my prediction was right and I've got 50 points. Not much but more than in men.
