It does but she didn't win gold... so it's strange they are writing that ...Olympic Gold Medalist Gracie Gold sounds so lovely.
Exactly- she has Olympic team bronzeIt does but she didn't win gold... so it's strange they are writing that ...
That is horrible. I know that he been trying to break in boots. I just hope that the rest of US men can figure out how to hold on the 3 spots for the Olympics.Just sawāJason Brown withdrew
They're skating in reverse order of World Standings points, and there's a draw if there's multiple skaters without points.Anyone know how theyāre doing start orders? Will there be a draw?
Reverse order of the ISU World Standings for the SP/SD, then reverse order of SP/SD placement for the FS/FD. If multiple skaters aren't in the World Standings, they all skate before the WS skaters and there's a draw between them.Anyone know how theyāre doing start orders? Will there be a draw?
Taira Shinohara has been added to replace Jason.
I love Taira and was so sad when he just missed the cut. Iām so happy he is the replacement! If Ilia wins Worlds and another skater scores 260+, it's possible to finish high enough for 3 spots. But we're getting ahead of ourselves since Nationals hasn't even been skated yet. That is horrible. I know that he been trying to break in boots. Only Andrew Torgashev, Jimmy Ma and Camden Pulkinen have come close to a number that high.If Ilia wins Worlds and another skater scores 260+, it's possible to finish high enough for 3 spots. But we're getting ahead of ourselves since Nationals hasn't even been skated yet.![]()

. Go Birds I think 250+ would be enough for around top 10-12th position. If Ilia wins Worlds and another skater scores 260+, it's possible to finish high enough for 3 spots. But we're getting ahead of ourselves since Nationals hasn't even been skated yet.![]()

When I first typed my last post, I put Andrew's name in but took it out. I really hope he skates as well as or better than at NHK. We will see.I don't want to jinx anything, but I have faith in a certain other skater.
Now I only need to cut away from a certain other Very Important sporting event (to me) for one skater rather than two. I'll catch everyone else later.
Go Andrew. Go Birds

Asked Jason Brown after his withdrawal from nationals if he would petition for world team spot. This was his answer: "As far as worlds, Iām currently addressing my equipment issues to best determine my path forward before making any final decisions.. . .
"Iām looking at the remainder of this season and beyond to be sure that I am setting myself up for competitive success."
Can someone explain why this is happening. It is downright bizarre. Why are they combining both the men's short program and the free dance together like this. Please just separate the two because it doesn't make sense. Two groups of men tearing up the ice and then the ice dancers have to deal with the ruts and then the final group of men go on after God knows how long and add more ruts that the final group of ice dancers have to navigate. Just do free dance first then the men's short afterwards please let's embrace common sense hereBecause of television, they're splitting the FD and the Men's SP because NBC is evil.
So, if you want to see all the Free Dances, you'll need tickets for both sessions. It also gets you the entire men's SP, too, even if you're more interested in dance.
