And we start in 13 minutes on YouTube.

I am interested to see what novice pairs do these days.

About 15 or 20 years ago, Dalilah Sappenfield was putting on very mismatched pairs. I recall a very young girl skating with a balding guy to "Barbie Girl." (Eyeblindingly inappropriate IMO.)

These pairs all had huge twists and won everything in sight, which led to Dalilah winning the top Development coach award

Much more appropriate age gaps this year around, only 3-4 years apart. No huge twists or throws, but good lifts.
Nothing yet on US Figure Skating YouTube :angry3:
They're streaming on the Free Skate link

Nice pass-over spiral from team #2 Giuliana & Matthew

Kerr/Castelletti have very good throws, proper technique and good air, there's definitely room to upgrade them to triples eventually.

really nice skate for Alena Kerr / Mitchell Castelletti who would fit right in Juniors.

How gutsy to let someone lift and throw you in a direction that is not natural for them. Kudos to Juliet & Devin Meek for being a very nice mirror pair.

Great Season for Juliet Meek and Devin Meek (M&M). Silver Medal at Nationals, First place at U.S. Pairs Finals in Boston.
Big Congratulations to them. Along with some big scores.
Now they have made it onto Team U.S.A. First International assignment next month, The Challenge Cup, competing in Advanced Novice.
Also going with pair team Giuliana Gariti and Mathew Curtis. Go U.S.A.

I never saw a mirror pair before. The Meeks were exciting to watch. I thought everyone looked pretty good, but is it my imagination, or are they doing more difficult elements than last year? Especially the lifts. Also the novices look older than last year? I missed the adorable Taich and Chapa from last Nationals (2024 silver medalists). Do you know why they were not here? I was really hoping to see them again.
