Hi! I'm an adult skater and am looking into starting private lessons in the next couple months. I know there are tons of well-known coaches/coaching teams in the area (incl. many Olympians especially at GPI) but was wondering if anyone had any specific recommendations for an experienced coach who wouldn't mind taking on an adult student and will actually help me develop good technique and progress. I've noticed some coaches are mainly looking for children who will end up competing internationally and some are more lax/let lots of things slide with adults or don't take them seriously - I'm looking for someone who will help me build a proper foundation so that I might have a chance of landing an axel or a double someday. I'm aware it's not a given that it'll ever happen but I know it for sure won't if I don't learn with proper technique and SS so want to give myself a fighting chance
