(I pronounce "either" as eye-ther. Just checked my CanOx out of curiosity and it says mine is the more common British pronunciation, while ee-ther is American, but both are correct in North America. Learned something new.)Some people give an outdoor cat a bell

In Britain there was a saying that everyone who lived within sight of the same church steeple
had an accent different from those who lived around the next church down the road.
(i.e., there are hundreds of distinct regional accents in the UK)
