Baikal Open is a competition that took place on the ice of Lake Baikal in March. Channel One is planning to show the recording of this event on 6 April. The time given is Moscow time.

I saw a couple of photos and the setting in Lake Baikal looks beyond amazing. Such an incredibly beautiful and imposing landscape :love2:

watching this now, it's truly a miracle no one other than galliamov was hurt.... the overall idea of the comp is nice, but having the possible olympic picks there now? irresponsible as hell

It looks dangerous, although I wonder what the skaters themselves think about it.

Aliev has performed multiple backflips there, Dikidzhi did the 4A. I don't think they would have done it feeling a lot of danger, although athletes certainly think differently.

Galliamov's injury may be the result of him ignoring it all season.
