2025 Triglav Trophy | Apr 9-13

2025 Triglav Trophy is set to take place Apr 9-13, 2025, in Jesenice, Slovenia, at the Podmežakla Hall. Skaters in Singles discipline (Women and Men) in the Novice, Junior and Senior categories will compete.

The event will be conducted in accordance with the ISU Constitution and General Regulations, ISU Special Regulations & Technical Rules for Single & Pair Skating, and relevant ISU Communications.

Well, I wouldn't have been watching much of it anyway, as there is Formula 1, MotoGP and World Superbikes all on this weekend. But, it is still disappointing.

Right. I've just discovered why the Entries / Results page we had for the Triglav Trophy is still in template form, even though the Advanced Novices did their Short Programmes yesterday and are doing their Free Skates today. A new one has been set up on a different address.

I dont know when it was moved, but sorry for not spotting it until there now.

Now that we know the times for the Triglav Trophy, the OP has been updated to show the timetable for the entire event, not just the Narcisa Cup.

OK, so I don't like having cut-offs anyway. But, for goodness sake, with all the withdrawals there have been from today's competitions, they would easily have been able to let all 38 remaining Junior Ladies do their Free Skate programmes tomorrow, and not finished that much later than originally planned! (The start times for both of the Senior FS competitions tomorrow have been brought forward, by 23m for the girls and by 37m for the boys).

Junior Ladies entries: 42
Junior Ladies cut-off: 30

Junior Ladies withdrawals: 4
Junior Men's withdrawals: 3
Senior Ladies withdrawals: 2
Senior Men's withdrawals: 1

Total Saturday withdrawals: 10
Junior Ladies knocked out: 8

I feel so sorry for the 8 girls that got knocked out - 1 of the 12 Italians; the sole Peruvian; 1 of the 5 Slovenians; 5 of the 6 Croatians.

But there is something that is making up for this...

MY BABY GIRL WON THE JUNIOR LADIES SHORT PROGRAMME!!!



And by a good margin too!

Oh, I hope Stefania has a great Free Skate tomorrow! After everything she went through last season, she deserves it.

SHE DID!!! STEFANIA WON!!!!!!



The podium ceremony for the Supersport 300 race had just finished, so I popped over to check the live scoring for the Junior Ladies, and found that Stefania was doing her programme.

So I waited for the page to update, with fingers crossed on both hands, and at the same time the hands together in a praying position.

Exactly the same scenario as with Marilena last week. Stefania won the Short and was 2nd in the Free, which was enough to win the overall title.

So, both of my favourite skaters win on consecutive weeks.

WELL DONE STEFANIA!!!
