I also voted over the long weekend. I had to go twice, since the first time I went there was no chance I was waiting in line, but just before it closed for the night the station was empty!
So far, everyone I've talked to didn't wait until the 28th, they voted in advance one way or another. Gives new meaning to the term "eager beaver" 🦫

My husband and I voted on election day. We actually didn't decide how to vote until the night before!

It was a crucial election. Unfortunately, it looks like we'll have to do it all over again soon.

From Benoit Richaud's stories, Gogolev is on the ice. And Aleksa is there too (along with Donovan Carrillo.)

anyone got any insight into why wesley would have been removed from the bcyt provincial team 😅
For the provincial team, Skate BC/YT has what it means (from here):
The BC/YT Team: This team represents those skaters who qualified to represent the BC/YT Section at the Skate Canada Challenge, Skate Canada Trophy and/or National Championships.
They updated the provincial team page after those events happened and waited for their site redesign. My thought is that since Wesley didn't compete at Challenge/Nationals, they didn't add him.

I'm not reading too much into who they included since Louie Fukuda-Wu is on there and he looks to have switched to representing Taiwan recently.

Connaught posted Wesley as part of their skaters training for their spring session (including Minkyu Seo). It looks like he's training and intending to compete.

Do Canada not normally have a big domestic event after the end of the normal season at which everyone competes with next year's requirements? If so, when is it?

Skate Canada's top Men's moments:

My top moment isn't on the list, I really enjoyed going to the Junior Men short at Challenge. Several of them had their best short programs of the season there. I'm looking forward to watching them next season, whether they're moving up to Senior domestically or staying Junior.
