I recall Thierry Ferland had previously partnered with Joy Weinberg. But I see on pp 5-6 of this thread that Joy was injured and they split. Joy is currently back on Ice Partner Search. She had been away from the sport for a bit before trying to come back with Thierry. Joy won U.S. junior pairs in 2016 with Maximiliano Fernandez.

Eliana Secunda was a U.S. singles skater prior to competing with Blake Eisenach in U.S. juvenile, intermediate, novice, and juniors circa 2014-18. Blake has had a number of partners; he was most successful with Megan Wessenberg in 2021-22. More recently, Blake has been skating in shows with Disney on Ice. Eliana has worked as a coach and as a modern dance instructor. She also enjoys rock climbing. Best of luck to Eliana and Thierry. I hope this pairing works out for them! 🍀

RUS, ice dance

Split: Vasilisa Grigorieva/Evgeni Artyushchenko

Teamed up: Elizaveta Shanaeva/Evgeni Artyushchenko
Anastasia Polibina and Pavel Golovishnikov (PL ice dance) have retired today. It was announced during MKS Axel Gala. They will be coaches at the club and I wish them all the best.
During the same gala it was announced that Filip Bojanowski teamed with Helena Cahart. They will be representing Poland.
Oh Helena is a delight to watch! Hope this could be a good young team for Poland!

This post is really hard for me to make, but Darya Grimm / Michail Savitskiy (GER, Ice Dance) have split.

Both are looking for new partners.

(I thought I was paranoid when I had a really bad feeling yesterday after seeing a picture of their training group posted by YGA and Michail was nowhere to be found - Guess I was right to feel suspicious.)

Why is there no crying emoji reaction. I need it for this.

NOOOOOOOOOOO 😭😭😭😭😭
To hurt you even more, Lara Luft (Misha's girlfriend) won't be skating for Germany anymore. I wanted to wait until she announced her new partnership fully, but she revealed (in a podcast) that she has relocated to New York and will be skating for Hungary with a new partner (I think it's easy enough to put together the pieces as to who her new partner is).
Good for her, not so good for German skating.

I‘m in shock 😲

Oh wow I'm actually in shock. I really enjoyed their free dances the past few seasons. Wishing the best for them in the future with new partners.

Also looks like Lara Luft (his girlfriend) isn't especially happy with Grimm either.
There was clearly a lot going on behind the scenes and the things that made them good as a team are probably also what caused some of the tension within the partnership.

At the end of the day, these are teens to young adults, and the behaviour on all sides (because there are more than two) is very indicative of that.

One could have imagined this. She’s still eligible to compete in juniors, and he is not due to age limits.
That probably has nothing to do with why they split. Fradji / Fourneaux didn't split despite Celina still having two years of Jr eligibility, nor did the Peals or Mullens. If her new partner is who I think it is, then she's still going to be Junior eligible when he ages out as well.

This is wonderful to hear. I’m happy he found a partner. I look forward to see their partnership progress.

Savitskiy made a later post apologizing for mentioning anything about Darya's marriage. As you say, there were clearly tensions and personal conflicts going on bts. Of course, there have been other sudden, shocking splits by young teams related to emotional conflicts, sadly. Nguyen/Kolesnik come to mind.
