The 2025 Cranberry Cup International is the first of 11 events of the 2025-26 Figure Skating Challenger Series and is scheduled to take place in Norwood, MA, USA, August 7-11, 2025.

This event will feature the Singles discipline in the Senior category. The competition will be conducted in accordance with the ISU Constitution and General Regulations, the ISU Special Regulations for Singles skating, and relevant ISU Communications.

The Advanced Novice Junior and Junior categories will compete separately.

To avoid confusion, the NQS thread is here.

Participation is open to all Skaters/Couples of ISU Members with a maximum of 3 entries per category (except for the Host ISU Member), who are eligible for International "Senior" Competitions by age (Rule 108) and by citizenship (109) and entered through the respective ISU Member. These pages still exist, but haven't been updated with the entries (yet?) in this case:

Mmmmm. We'll just have to wait and see if they get populated.

I hope they do. It is so much easier to check who is there and who isn't when it is a more basic table with just text in each row; rather than a flashy table with profile pic thumbnails and big gaps between rows, resulting in so much more scrolling having to be done.

I know we don't have any substitutes at this event, but it was more obvious who was down as a substitute in the old tables, because of the positioning of the "S" at the end of the row. Having the "S" at the end of the name in the new tables means it doesn't stand out as much. And because the names are different lengths, this results in the substitute symbols being all over the place.

When making out my Predictions, I always copied over the entry lists from the old style pages to a Word document because it was so easy to edit it down to what you needed. All you had to do was delete the rows that had an "S" at the end, and then delete all the columns after the "Nation" column. If you use the entry lists on the results pages, you have to spend ages removing each flag icon individually as well. If you use the entry lists on the new style pages, they do not copy over properly as a table at all.

Simplicity is much better.

This will be a solid men's field. Lots of skaters who, in my mind, are in the "middle." Nobody I'd classify as a clear favorite, so it will be a good win for one of them.

On paper, you'd have to call Isabeau the favorite for the women, but she's sometimes been underwhelming in early season events. We'll see.

It's the same weekend as CQE, which has Fee Ann, Uliana, Breken and Sara-Maude. Katherine is going to Skate Ontario August. I think the only one who would have opted for Cranberry Cup would be Maddie.
that's good for me I guess as I am going to CQE... but as you know, Eddy and Antho are not participating at CQE as they are most likely competing at Cranberry juniors.. so...
