you mean on Skate Canada's website ? They are still on the JGP RIga site... but you know... if there are no longer 3 teams contending for JGPF... it would be a smart move to split Ava and Yoni from Jazzy and Kiki

Yes, on the Skate Canada site. I agree, probably shuffling for Jazzy/Kiki since they're the only subs listed for Ankara on the entries.

For those like me...

here is the link to the international assignments

do not worry... there is something found in that page... One wonders though, why they didn't update the GP assignments which were already announced much earlier... Oh. Well.

Leyland has got this. I'd love to see her win the US Open.

Since international competition should be starting tomorrow with Lake Placid and Cranberry Cup next week, here's a look at where the skaters currently stand with CTES:

Martina/Charly split confirmed :(

This move makes sense to me.
Now Charly can develop with a new partner to get higher scores with an opportunity to take his career past just Juniors. If I was a female singles skater, this is a good opportunity to get some figure skating international experience outside of Canada. I wonder who will seize this opportunity.

As for Martina, I wonder what she will do? 🤔

Martina/Charly split confirmed :(

This is sad, but I can't say I'm surprised. The body language and clear lack of preparation at Next Gen said it all. They were a good physical match, but Charly was stronger from a technical point of view. I hope he can find a new partner quickly. Who do you have who might be suitable? It probably needs a singles skater with triples to want to transition across to pairs. Good luck to Martina, also, in whatever she does next.

Well, personally, I would love to see Cristina Lyons back in pairs, but she's two years older than Charly and no longer Junior eligible, so I don't think he'd go for her at this time in his career.

There are some international skaters with pairs experience looking for partners, like Claudia Sinclair Scotti (ESP/ITA) and Lilianna Murray (USA), but neither has consistent triples. With Varvara Cheremnykh (RUS), who has pairs experience and triple jumps, he'd have the same height difference as with Brooke McIntosh, which would be quite the adjustment for him after skating with Martina.
There are some skaters who might be willing to try pairs in Canada and outside of Canada (like Leona Gebara (SWE), who has both 3S and 3T), but it is always a risk pairing up with a partner who is completely new to the discipline.

Genie won... it was great to see her happy.
I am going to be at the stadium today for 3 matches.... Marino, Leylah and Bibi Andresscu (if her ankle isn't too bad).... I feel fortunate as I picked that day based on my availability and to see 3 Canadians in action is cool :)
Just Saw an interview with Genie....Good Grief! That young woman is Gorgeous
