Oops, got a bit tight to each other (and the boards) on some elements, but it also means they are skating closely together, which is good. They just need to keep the spacing more consistent.

Nice lift for them too, and they seem well-matched visually and in terms of team dynamic. They're both long-limbed and leggy, which can be a strength as they become more refined.

Too bad about the scary mishap that zeroed out Michelle and Ryan's twizzles. Congrats on level 4 Rhumba. Promising team I look forward to watching grow.

These two are clearly way ahead of the previous teams, even if the scores won't reflect that. Very happy nobody got hurt on the twizzle fall and very proud of them for continuing with such professionalism.
Her hair and expressiveness are wonderful, even if he drew my eyes more as a skater.

The worst of it is that you could see that was going to happen before it did! You could see that Ryan had no idea Michelle was there.

Thank goodness they got away with it. That could have been a disaster.

Why did they include it in the replays?! I didn't want to see it again, and just looked away.

On a more positive note, I liked that they used the extended version of "Living La Vida Loca". That was the version that was always being played on the radio when I was in Cyprus that summer. And so that is the version that I prefer.
