Robert Brodie article about High Performance Camp, with the most important information (TBDs, comebacks, I know what I really care about):

He also has an explanation for why they chose which women were invited (they're on the Grand Prix alternates list) and the TBD for women will be announced later in September. Kinoshita Group Cup will be the decider for the TBD for Ice Dance. Also Lauriault/Le Gac will need to change their RD due to music clearance issues.
well.. calling Ava and Yoni ice dancers is quite the "typo" here :)

He repeatedly writes K/E as a dance team

Loved the article about HP.

Men
I like how Keegan was concerned about knocking off a fellow member off the team. I agree that he will live with regret if he doesn’t take this chance. I just wish he decided earlier (kind of like Alysa). We might have had two spots instead of one. I love Romsky. But, Keegan just has my heart for this season. Also, I love how Skate Canada isn’t making any exceptions for Keegan. He has to earn the 219 domestically to be sent internationally to join Aleksa, Stephen and Roman. The Texas event will be interesting. Also, this will add attention to Sectionals and Challenge. Is he in the BC/YK Sectional? I don’t know cause he lives in Alaska. I hope he attains the minimum score, and picks two late Challenger events.

Our Men’s field just got that much more interesting. We also have Grayson waiting in the wings and John Kim too.

Women
I’m so happy that SMD is pushing for that 3A. In my opinion, she should go for the triple axel. Look at the attention she is getting. It is interesting that she landed it more than once during practice at the local domestic event. I’m putting my eggs in her basket.

KMS sounds injured and not at her best.

Interesting how they mentioned that just because Breken and Gabby Daleman aren’t at HP, it doesn’t mean they have been ruled out. The decision will be made end of September. I hope this means some of the contenders still get an event to prove themselves for the spot. If they don’t, I will be mad if Uliana isn’t picked.

Uliana earned a Challenger event. If she gets passed for the TBD spot, I would give her another Challenger event.

Also, Gabby and Amy both earned over 166, at the US Domestic events. I hope this already gives them a Challenger event. I want to see more fire from Gabby with her jump combos.

Pairs
I wish I could to find out more about the other Pair teams. I like the programs Max and Deanna picked.

Trennt and Lia are fine based on their performance at winning the US domestic event. However, I kind of want to see improvements with our other two Pairs teams.

Dance
I love how Skate Canada is doing a competition within a competition to decide the TBD spot. That is fair. I just hope the two loser teams, still get another Challenger event.

Where can I find the Season Best Scores for this season. When I click in on the forum site it just shows for 24/25. Want to see how the CAN scores stack up so far. Especially since they have been doing well placement wise.

They haven't added the pages for the 2025-26 season in the old format. They do have a page here in the new format - https://isu-skating.com/figure-skating/statistics/

It currently hasn't added the SBs for Cranberry Cup, so Grayson has the second highest SB at this time (they haven't added JGP Ankara yet.) SkatingScores maintains their own SB lists that I find helpful, here is the one for the men. The other disciplines are linked in it too.

JGP season so far :

Canada is topping the medal standings, doing that without even having skaters in all disciplines...

Keegan represents Alberta usually. I believe, Sherwood Park Skating Club.

Where did you find this table? I would be interested in seeing the rest of it, including all the medals.

Edited to add: never mind, I found it here. I was looking in that article, but couldn't find it until I searched for "table", then it popped right up. I'm including the link for anyone else who is interested. Canada is clearly on top (so far), no matter how you sort it. :cheer:🫎🇨🇦:jump:

WIki always has a JGP season where all winners for every stage and a medal table is offered.
I only included top five for editing purposes... I didn't think people would care that I didn't put all lines in there when all I wanted to show is how good our Canadian skaters have done so far ;) I never intended to present a complete evaluation of the JGP season in the Canadian thread :)

Also, it is clear that medals will not necessarily keep flocking for Canada. How many singles medals will we get ? Grayson's was a great surprise... and then, there are only two more events with pairs :)

So I wanted to be able to say, not only after the first JGP stop, Canada had the most medals, but it did too, after the second. I don't think we will say the same, after the third :)

A Canadian response.... to "apologize" for boasting about Canadian success

I like Gabby SP it suit her personnality, but I'm not sure about the FS, I know that she like this program cause her idol was Joannie Rochette and Joannie skate to Samson and delilah. But, for me, it doesn't suit Gabby personnality.

I wish that she recycle the Gladiator program instead it suit her much more her personnality or go back to the Dark Eyes FS :

I liked the gladiator program but I think that since it's her potentially last season, she picked programs that meant something special for her.
I think Samson and Delilah is a good story for her. The story is all about strength and seduction. Who else but Gabby to portray these themes ?
