sandrine didn't too badly... actually, this is progress compared to last time i saw her

Not perfect for Sandrine, but she didn't let the mistakes get to her. Maybe not the score she was looking for, but she had good fight.

Sandrine!! This is what she is capable of.
All was good when she landed the opening 3Lz and 2A 3T.
Her 3Lo and 3F usually are difficult for her. She did well just not to fall.
Besides a popped salchow, she landed four triples cleanly.

157.47!!! She becomes only our second junior eligible girl to surpass the 155 domestic benchmark!! (besides Victoria)

I think it is too late for her to replace Reese or Hannah. But, this might just ban Sandrine a Junior B

she should get a junior b... she is not ready to go to JGP. She wants it too much. She needs to breathe in and be proud of the small progress every competition. She's very good. She just needs a bit more time

I know. I agree. This was progress. She never seems to smile. Her wanting it so badly led to breakdowns at NextGen and in the other Quebec domestic event.

Also, Megane
My suggestion is to force her to execute easier jumps until she regains an ounce of confidence. The only Megane I have ever seen, is one in tears at the kiss n cry. I really would love for her to breakout soon…

They cut the stream... Both Nic and Eddy looked very serious in the KnC.

Eddy didn't seem to have any energy on the ice.

i have no idea... maybe Yvan needed a break. He was just in Thailand wasn't he ? This event is in quebec city... so maybe he decided not to go and send nic. Maybe Yvan is running Montreal's marathon... and passed in front of my house while i was trying to sleep and people woke me up with cheering for runners... Now i know to never volunteer for a pit stop at a race.... it's so loud. I would prefer opening the gate for figure skaters of course

Second last group for Senior Women started. Quite a few doubles for Mia-Catherine, but she's landing them and it's always nice to see her costume reveal.

Overall score: 133.86
Clearly in first place at this moment

Moving to Stephane Yvars seems to be working out for Jessica. She'll get to Challenge this season.

Also I wish I'd watched Junior Dance, Briere/Levesque got a 2 point deduction for an illegal element. I want to know what it is now.

Yes. She was so happy with her 140.80 score (second place)
Sometimes… change is a good thing and it is for Jessica. This kind of score can even take her to Nationals!!
